Wolf Blitzer: Guatemala and Archeologists are making a fascinating discovery.
Lets go to CNN correspondent who traveled to "Mirador" and came back with an "Amazing Story" Tell our viewers what's going on!
Correspondent: "Wolf, I think I'm officially an Archeology Geek! Our CNN crew were the first officially in the world to shoot the face of what MAY be the worlds "LARGEST" pyramid by "VOLUME" This pyramid is covered by the Canopy of the Jungle and it is currently facing several threats!
From the air, it looks like just jungle but these forests hide an ancient secret, what is called, "The City of Mirador" often what is referred to as, "The Cradle of Mayan Civilization" the size of a modern day metropolis.
"This is no mountain! It's a Pyramid! and according to the mirador basin project, it may be the LARGEST pyramid by volume in the WORLD! CNN is traveling with the project's director and lead archeologist, Richard Hansen and the founder of the "Global Heritage Fund" Jeff Morgan.
Richard Hansen: The Pyramid of "Levantez (spelling)" is a structure that the world should know because it represents an investment of labor unprecidented in the world history. Every single stone in that building from the "bottom to the top" was carried by human labor.
CNN Correspondent: And the work to save this pyramid is delicate; done by hand. Guatemalan Archeologist, painstakenly (pains takenly) help uncover peices of history built by their ancestors and the view on top of of "La Danta"... spectacular!

CNN Correspondent: Here at the "Top of La Danta" we are 72 meters or 224 feet from "The Forest Floor" and when we talk about "sheer size of this area that is "El Mirador" , one mayan city, Archeologist
Dr. Richard Hansen says, "Its size is larger than all of Down Town Los Angeles, (los Angeles, California) and he says that "THOUSANDS" of pyramids are left to be "uncovered" Then Dr. Hansen shows us things that few people have ever seen. A relic, which is referred to as the "Popul Vuh" , the Mayan's story of "Creation"

Correspondent: For decades, historians beleived that the Popul Vuh was tainted by the catholic views of spanish "Conquistadors" Finding this changes "EVERYTHING!" because it predates the spanish arrival by more than a Millenium
*The challenge now is preserving this area. A jungle constantly under threat by "narco-trafficers" "loggers" and "cattle ranchers." Hansen's guards are in constant standby to keep "Looter's Out"
Dr. Hansen: "where we have guards in cities around the basin, we have had no new looters. Where we have had NO resources for that, we have lost 100%"

Recently, archaeologists have discovered the creation engraved in a Mayan temple in El Mirador, Guatamala. This is the same creation from the Popul Vuh, a Mayan work which relates many Biblical stories including the creation, and the great flood in Noahs time. It was thought that these stories were influenced by Catholic Priests, but, as this clip shows, there may be a more ancient setting for these stories. This is a CNN report, which shows the discovery of the largest pyramid to date, along with a carving of the Mayan creation dated to around 300 B.C. This may place the stories of the Popul Vuh, and it's Christian stories, to pre-Columbian times

"There is truth becoming evident the founding of a great civilization at around 300 B.C. are those of a Judeo-Christian society or worshipers of Israel's God. The uncovering of archeological findings helps to prove and support the claims of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints regarding this people found in The Book of Mormon. Although it is not 100% conclusive, it does accurately describe the people of the Book of Mormon, a Judeo-Christian society established by the "People of Nephi" and that of Mormon. Claiming, in short, to be members of "The House of Israel" is also part of the Book of Mormon record.
(Story of the great flood, of the creation, and others are found from the Popul Vuh which suggests that these folks had parts of the Bible, as the Book of Mormon also suggests, were brought with them from the Holy Land.)
In my opinion, they may have found "The Land of Nephi" of which housed the civilization of several peoples including but not limited to: The Lamanites of the people of the Crocodile as some archeologists have suggested their names would be, "The People of Lamoni" and also the people of Mulek, which joined up with the Nephites several decades into their sojourn upon the American Continent and also of the Nephites, the principal writers of the Book of Mormon history.
La conclusion: Hay verdades que sea evidente por medio de ese video con respeto a ese gran civilizacion los cuales ocuparon ese area que ahora se llama "Guatemala" y de que ellos eran descendientes verificados de un pueblo judeo-cristiano.
